Adiós Subbie Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Adiós Subbie, also called "Subbie," collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Subbie application, website, and related services.
For this Policy, "Subbie," "we," "us," and "our" mean Yes It Scales, the operator of the App. "You" means the person using the App.
Subbie is an inbox-cleanup helper. It helps users review newsletters, promotional emails, mass emails, subscription senders, and similar recurring email clutter in Gmail. Subbie can help users identify senders, request unsubscribes, and move selected messages to Gmail Trash.
Subbie is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. Gmail and Google are trademarks of Google LLC.
1. Information we collect
Subbie collects only the information needed to provide the App's user-facing inbox-cleanup features.
Google account information
When you sign in with Google, Subbie may receive basic account information made available through Google authentication, such as your Google account email address, name, profile image, and authentication information needed to connect your account.
Gmail information
Subbie requests Gmail access so it can provide inbox-cleanup features.
The current version of Subbie is designed to process subscription-related Gmail metadata and headers, including sender names, sender email addresses, message subject lines, message dates, Gmail message IDs, Gmail labels associated with scanned messages, List-Unsubscribe header information, unsubscribe links or unsubscribe email addresses found in headers, counts and categories of subscription-related senders, and user-selected message IDs for Gmail Trash actions.
Subbie is designed to search for recent Gmail messages that include unsubscribe-related signals and to group those messages by sender.
Subbie is not designed to read attachments. Subbie is not designed to read full message bodies for its standard scan. However, the Gmail permission requested by the App may technically allow broader Gmail access than the App is designed to use. Subbie uses Gmail access only for the features described in this Policy and in the App interface.
User action information
When you use Subbie, we may process information about actions you take inside the App, including scan requests, selected senders, selected messages, unsubscribe actions, trash actions, bulk cleanup actions, legal acceptance state, error events, and basic usage events needed to operate or secure the App.
Browser and device information
We may process limited technical information, such as browser type, device type, approximate session information, error logs, security logs, timestamps, IP address, or similar network information if received by our hosting or security providers.
Local browser storage
Subbie may store limited information in your browser, including a temporary Gmail access token, the time the token was stored, legal acceptance state, and cleanup counters such as emails cleared or subscriptions processed.
The current App is designed to remove the temporary Gmail access token after it expires or when you sign out. You may also clear this information by signing out, clearing browser storage, or revoking the App's access through your Google account permissions.
2. How we use information
Subbie uses information only to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the App's user-facing features.
We use information to authenticate you with Google, connect to Gmail with your authorization, scan for subscription-related email signals, identify newsletter, promotional, bulk, update, software, or other recurring senders, show sender summaries and sample subjects so you can make decisions, help you request unsubscribes, send unsubscribe request emails when you authorize that action, move selected messages to Gmail Trash when you authorize that action, display cleanup metrics to you, troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, and comply with legal, security, and platform obligations.
Subbie does not use Gmail data for advertising. Subbie does not sell Gmail data. Subbie does not use Gmail data to determine creditworthiness, lending eligibility, employment eligibility, insurance eligibility, or similar regulated decisions. Subbie does not use Gmail data to train generalized artificial intelligence models.
3. Gmail actions taken on your behalf
Subbie only takes Gmail actions after you authorize Gmail access and use the App's controls.
Depending on the action you choose, Subbie may scan Gmail metadata and headers for subscription-related messages, display likely subscription senders, open or contact unsubscribe URLs found in message headers, send unsubscribe request emails from your Gmail account to unsubscribe email addresses found in message headers, and move selected messages to Gmail Trash.
You are responsible for reviewing senders and messages before taking cleanup actions. Subbie's classifications and summaries may be incorrect. Subbie does not guarantee that an unsubscribe request will work.
Moving a message to Gmail Trash is not intended to permanently delete it immediately, but Gmail may later delete trashed messages according to Google's policies, settings, and retention behavior. You are responsible for reviewing Gmail Trash and restoring anything you want to keep.
4. AI processing
Subbie may use Google Gemini or related Google AI services to classify subscription senders and generate short sender summaries.
For that purpose, Subbie may send limited sender metadata and sample subject lines to the AI service, such as sender name, sender email address, sample subject lines, category candidates, and unsubscribe-related metadata.
Subbie does not use this information to train generalized AI models. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You should review all cleanup recommendations before acting on them.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information or Gmail data. We do not share Gmail data for advertising.
We may share or process information only as needed to provide, secure, or operate the App, including with Google for authentication, Gmail API access, and Gmail actions; Google Gemini or related Google AI services for sender classification and sender summaries; Firebase or Google Cloud services if used for authentication, hosting, app configuration, logging, or security; hosting, infrastructure, monitoring, and security providers; professional advisors; and law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.
Any service provider we use is permitted to process information only for the purposes described in this Policy or as otherwise permitted by law.
6. Google API Limited Use statement
Subbie's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Subbie uses Google user data only to provide or improve user-facing features that are visible in the App. Subbie does not sell Google user data, use Google user data for advertising, or use Google user data to train generalized AI models.
7. Data retention
Subbie is designed to process Gmail data primarily in real time to provide the requested inbox-cleanup features.
The current version of Subbie does not intentionally store Gmail message content in a long-term application database.
Subbie may temporarily process Gmail metadata, message IDs, sender data, unsubscribe information, and action data during an active session.
Limited technical logs may be retained for security, debugging, abuse prevention, and legal compliance. We try to avoid storing Gmail message content in logs.
Browser-local information, such as temporary tokens, legal acceptance state, and cleanup counters, may remain on your device until it expires, you sign out, you clear your browser storage, or the App removes it.
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
8. Data deletion and revoking access
You can stop Subbie's access to Gmail at any time by signing out of Subbie, clearing your browser storage, and revoking Subbie's access in your Google Account permissions.
You may request deletion of information associated with your use of Subbie by contacting us at legal@yesitscales.com.
We may need to retain limited information when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or legitimate business records.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
These safeguards may include HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, Google OAuth authentication, limited-purpose access to Gmail data, access controls, security logging, vendor controls, and efforts to minimize retained Gmail data.
No system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for keeping your Google account, browser, device, and passwords secure.
10. Your choices
You can choose not to connect Gmail. You can review senders before taking action. You can choose individual cleanup actions instead of bulk actions. You can revoke Google access at any time. You can clear browser storage at any time. You can contact us to request deletion of information we control.
11. California privacy notice
If California privacy law applies to us and to your information, California residents may have rights to request access, deletion, correction, and information about certain data practices.
Subbie does not sell personal information. Subbie does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Subbie does not knowingly use sensitive personal information for purposes other than providing, securing, or improving the App.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

13. International users
Subbie is operated from the United States. If you use Subbie from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time.
If we make material changes to how Subbie accesses, uses, stores, or shares Google user data, we will update this Policy and, where required, ask users to review or consent to the updated terms before continuing to use affected features.
