Adiós Subbie Terms of Service
Effective date: May 20, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Adiós Subbie, also called "Subbie," including the website, application, features, software, and related services.
For these Terms, "Subbie," "we," "us," and "our" mean Yes It Scales, the operator of the App. "You" means the person accessing or using the App.
By accessing or using Subbie, connecting your Google account, or clicking to accept these Terms, you agree to these Terms and to the Subbie Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use Subbie.
Subbie is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. Gmail and Google are trademarks of Google LLC.
1. What Subbie does
Subbie is an inbox-cleanup helper. It helps users identify newsletters, promotions, subscription senders, bulk emails, recurring updates, and similar Gmail clutter.
Subbie may help you scan Gmail for subscription-related email signals, group likely subscription senders, classify senders into categories, summarize sender activity, request unsubscribes, send unsubscribe request emails from your Gmail account, move selected messages to Gmail Trash, and track basic cleanup counts.
Subbie is a productivity tool. It does not guarantee a clean inbox, successful unsubscribes, correct classifications, accurate AI summaries, or uninterrupted Gmail access.
2. Your control and responsibility
You are responsible for your Gmail account and all actions taken through Subbie.
Before using any cleanup action, you should review the senders, sample subjects, selected messages, and action type.
You are responsible for deciding whether to unsubscribe from a sender, move messages to Trash, use a bulk action, keep or restore messages, revoke access, or stop using the App.
Subbie may make mistakes. Sender classifications, summaries, unsubscribe signals, and cleanup recommendations may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.
Do not rely on Subbie as the only way to manage important email.
3. Gmail access and permissions
To use Subbie, you must authorize access to your Google account and Gmail.
Subbie requests Gmail access to provide inbox-cleanup features. The Gmail permission requested by Subbie may technically permit more access than Subbie uses in normal operation.
You authorize Subbie to use Gmail access for the purposes described in these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the App interface.
You may revoke Subbie's Google access at any time through your Google Account permissions.
4. Actions taken on your behalf
When you choose an action in Subbie, you authorize Subbie to perform that action on your behalf.
Depending on your selection, Subbie may scan Gmail metadata and headers, retrieve sender and subject information, contact unsubscribe URLs, send unsubscribe request emails from your Gmail account, and move selected messages to Gmail Trash.
Subbie does not guarantee that an unsubscribe request will work.
Some senders may ignore unsubscribe requests, require additional steps, use broken unsubscribe links, or continue sending email.
Some unsubscribe links may be controlled by third parties. Subbie is not responsible for the content, behavior, tracking, availability, or security of third-party unsubscribe links or mailing-list systems.
5. Trash and message loss risk
When you use Subbie to move messages to Trash, those messages may later be deleted according to Gmail's policies, settings, retention rules, or your own actions.
You are responsible for reviewing Gmail Trash and restoring any messages you want to keep.
Subbie is not responsible for lost emails, missed emails, deleted emails, misclassified emails, or business, legal, financial, personal, or other consequences resulting from your cleanup decisions.
6. No professional advice or records-management service
Subbie does not provide legal, financial, compliance, cybersecurity, records-management, employment, tax, or professional advice.
You are responsible for deciding whether emails must be retained for legal, business, tax, compliance, litigation, employment, or personal reasons before deleting or trashing them.
If you are subject to legal holds, employer policies, regulated industry rules, discovery obligations, or records-retention requirements, do not use Subbie to delete or trash emails unless you have confirmed that doing so is permitted.
7. Acceptable use
You may use Subbie only for lawful personal or internal business inbox cleanup.
You may not use Subbie to violate any law or regulation, violate Google's terms or policies, access an account you do not own or control, interfere with another person's email account, send spam or unauthorized messages, harass or abuse others, reverse engineer or attack the App, bypass security or access controls, upload malicious code, use the App for surveillance or regulated decisioning, or resell or commercially exploit the App without written permission.
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms or created risk for Subbie, users, Google, service providers, or others.
8. Third-party services
Subbie depends on third-party services, including Google authentication, Gmail APIs, Google AI services, Firebase or Google Cloud services, hosting providers, and browser technologies.
We do not control third-party services.
Subbie may stop working, work differently, or become unavailable because of third-party service changes, outages, rate limits, permission changes, policy changes, security restrictions, or account settings.
Your use of Google services remains subject to Google's own terms, policies, account settings, and permission controls.
9. AI features
Subbie may use AI to classify senders or summarize sender activity.
AI outputs may be wrong, incomplete, biased, outdated, or misleading.
You are responsible for reviewing AI-assisted summaries and categories before taking action.
AI output is not a warranty, instruction, or professional judgment.
10. Beta and experimental features
Subbie may include beta, experimental, preview, or early-stage features.
Those features may change, break, disappear, or produce unexpected results.
You use beta or experimental features at your own risk.
11. Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your Google account, device, and browser secure; signing out when appropriate; revoking access when you stop using Subbie; reviewing account permissions; and monitoring Gmail for unintended actions.
Notify us promptly if you believe Subbie access was misused or compromised.
12. Intellectual property
Subbie, including its name, character, graphics, interface, code, software, design, text, and related materials, is owned by Yes It Scales or its licensors.
You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Subbie only as permitted by these Terms.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from Subbie unless we give written permission or the law allows it.
13. Privacy
Your use of Subbie is subject to the Subbie Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how Subbie accesses, uses, stores, and shares information, including Google user data.
By using Subbie, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy.
14. Fees
Subbie may be free, paid, or partially paid.
If paid features are introduced, pricing, billing, cancellation, refund, and renewal terms will be disclosed before purchase.
Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable to the maximum extent permitted by law.
15. Disclaimers
Subbie is provided "as is" and "as available."
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, and error-free operation.
We do not warrant that Subbie will work without interruption, identify every subscription sender, classify senders correctly, successfully unsubscribe you, preserve all important emails, prevent future email clutter, keep Gmail or Google services available, or produce accurate AI-generated summaries or categories.
You use Subbie at your own risk.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yes It Scales, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost emails, business interruption, reputational harm, or loss of goodwill.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to Subbie will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to use Subbie in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars.
These limits apply regardless of legal theory, including contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, warranty, statute, or otherwise.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
17. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Yes It Scales, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your use of Subbie, Gmail cleanup decisions, deletion or trashing of emails, unsubscribe actions, violation of these Terms, violation of law, violation of third-party rights, misuse of Google services, or unauthorized access caused by your account, device, browser, or credentials.
We may control the defense of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate with us.
18. Termination
You may stop using Subbie at any time.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, your use creates legal, security, operational, or platform risk, continued access may harm users, Google, service providers, or us, or the App must be changed or discontinued.
After termination, sections that by their nature should survive will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and governing law.
19. Changes to the App or Terms
We may update Subbie or these Terms from time to time.
If changes are material, we may provide notice through the App, website, or other reasonable means.
Your continued use of Subbie after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using Subbie and revoke access through your Google Account permissions.
20. Dispute resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at legal@yesitscales.com and try to resolve the dispute informally.
If we cannot resolve the dispute informally within 30 days, either party may bring a claim in small claims court if eligible.
For other disputes, the parties agree to binding individual arbitration, to the maximum extent permitted by law. The arbitration will take place in San Francisco County, California, unless the parties agree otherwise or applicable consumer rules require another location.
The arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis. Class actions, class arbitrations, private attorney general actions, and representative actions are not permitted to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You may opt out of this arbitration provision within 30 days after first accepting these Terms by emailing legal@yesitscales.com with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out" and your Google account email address.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief for intellectual property misuse, security abuse, or unauthorized access.
21. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Subject to the dispute-resolution section, the state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or related to these Terms or Subbie.
